Court of
Final Appeal
Introduction
The building is one of the most important heritage buildings in Hong Kong given its historical and architectural values. It was declared as monument in 1984.
Building Development
The Old Supreme Court Building was located at the city centre
of Hong Kong in the early 20th century. It demonstrates the vivid urban development and symbolises the establishment of the rule of law in Hong Kong.
After the completion of renovation works in 2015, the Building is converted into fully-functioning modern courts housing the Court of Final Appeal, Hong Kong’s highest court.
