Wan Chai
Temporary Promenade

Introduction

Promenade Facilities

The promenade, with a total length of about 560 metres, connects the harbourfront of Central District and Wan Chai. It completes a crucial link of the Victoria Harbour promenade stretching for a total length of 5.5 kilometres, which is by far the longest promenade in Hong Kong. The promenade space of 7 800 square metres is largely a lawn for strolling and playing. The project also provides different forms of sitting-out area and topography landscaping, allowing visitors to sit back and relax while enjoying the panoramic view of the Victoria Harbour.

The Wan Chai Promenade from Tamar to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre incorporates a children-friendly green space along the Wan Chai waterfront for appreciating the Victoria Harbour. The promenade is easily accessible from Admiralty MTR Station, Central Piers or Wan Chai Ferry Pier
